I started my career in public relations managing media for brands in Austin, Texas — one day in a hard hat giving reporters a sneak peek of a hotel that would reshape the city skyline, the next hosting press conferences with the mayor or pairing food bloggers with rising-star restaurants.
Behind the scenes, I was securing coverage, coordinating interviews, crafting angles, and making sure the right stories got told — by the right people, in the right places.
As I grew in my career, I began advising tech founders, Fortune 500 executives, school districts, and startups alike. I’ve worked with global names like Crayola and Kelly Services, and also with indie architects, app developers, and citywide events.
The industries changed — but the throughline didn’t:
A clear story, confidently shared, can change everything.
That’s why I’m confident the visibility strategies I teach work — because they’ve been tested across dozens of industries, thousands of stories, and real-world moments where being seen made the difference.
After years of helping entrepreneurs and thought leaders gain visibility through strategic media placements, I realized something: it's not about having the biggest following or the flashiest brand. It’s about telling your story in a way that resonates and makes people listen.
My mission is to teach ambitious business owners, like you, how to pitch yourself confidently, secure podcast and press features, and build a platform that actually moves the needle. It’s about getting the recognition you deserve while building the credibility that strengthens trust with your ideal clients.
You don’t need a PR agency. You don’t need thousands of dollars. You just need the right tools and the confidence to use them.
For generations, women have been told to tone it down — to be polished, palatable, or quiet altogether.
Not because we lacked value, but because our voices hold it.
The very qualities that have been dismissed as soft — your empathy, your intuition, your ability to hold complexity — are the exact traits the world needs more of in leadership, in media, and in business.
What if the reason they tried to quiet your voice… was because it carries something they can’t control?
Your voice holds vision.
It bridges divides.
It invites truth.
It sparks change.
And the cost of staying silent is steep.
Personally, it breeds doubt. It erodes confidence. It disconnects you from your power, your purpose — even your sense of self. It’s a slow erosion of identity, aliveness, and the voice you were born to use.
Culturally, it keeps power in the hands of the same few — and leaves the rest of us fighting for scraps.
And in business? It’s the reason underqualified men get the mic, the stage, and the sale — while brilliant women remain in the shadows.
I don’t believe your voice is too much. I believe it’s strategic, powerful, and deeply necessary — and I built West Haven to help you wield it.
Through press, podcasts, and platform-building, I help women entrepreneurs break out of the silence they were never meant to carry — and shape the conversations that move people, shift culture, and grow their businesses.
Your voice isn’t just personal. It’s protest. It’s profitable.
And it’s time for a revolution.
You honor your inner truth as sacred and self-evident.
Your worth is not granted by systems, titles, or validation — it is inherent.
You trust your own wisdom and refuse to abandon yourself for acceptance.
You choose to speak, stand, and act — even when your voice shakes.
Courage isn’t fearlessness — it’s fidelity to what matters.
You have the power to disrupt, reimagine, and dream out loud.
You are not waiting for permission.
With clarity of purpose and grounded power, you make aligned choices — even small ones — that move you and others forward.
Every aligned step you take steers the story — your story — with purpose and power.
Your truth is not just yours — it reverberates.
By showing up fully, you create a frequency others can feel, follow, and rise into.
One bold voice really can shift the whole room.
My life’s work is about reclaiming and revering voice. I believe storytelling is a sacred act—one that returns us to ourselves and reshapes the world around us.
You would never guess based on my Midwest accent, but I was born in England in a coastal town called Bournemouth. I have three citizenships (British, Swiss and U.S.).
In 2025, we swapped the lakes and cheese curds of Madison, Wisconsin with the bicycles, canals, tulips, and windmills of the Netherlands!
I married my best friend, Mike, in 2017. Mike is a tech wizard who would build computers from scratch as a kid. He's not your stereotypical IT guy, though. He's the life of the party and you can find him braving jumps on his mountain bike in his free time. In other words, my life is rarely dull!
We experienced two back-to-back pregnancy losses in 2020. It was one of the most difficult experiences of our lives in the midst of a global pandemic. I continue to share my story to shake the stigma around loss so that future women receive more support.
I'm always up for an adventure, whether that's a 12-mile hike through the Redwoods, sipping a cappuccino in Paris, or staying in a bungalow at the side of a volcano in Costa Rica. And yes, we're crazy enough to bring our toddler along with us!
Remy is our double-rainbow baby and the light of my life. He has taught me to slow down and find wonder in the ordinary moments (fruit flies, anyone?). His current obsessions are excavators, dinosaurs, hot wheels, ice cream, and smoothies.
Your work is more than just a business; it’s a solution to problems that matter. Whether you’re helping others reclaim their health, find confidence, or create financial freedom, your services are making a lasting impact.
But to continue changing lives, your voice needs to be heard. It’s not just about visibility for visibility’s sake—it’s about reaching the people who need you most. I’m here to help you take the bold step of sharing your story with the world, so you can make an even bigger difference.
Let’s amplify the impact you're already making and ensure your message reaches those who need it most. Together, we’ll turn your passion into the recognition, credibility, and results your business deserves.
